HourTopic
The first hour begins by looking at the Evidence-Based Paradigm.  It then explains the concept of logical fallacies and provides instruction in critical thinking to understand the major premise of chiropractic.  Examples are given and examples are solicited from participants through discussion.
Using the foundation from the first hour, the second hour dives deeper into the 33 principles of chiropractic.  The 33 Principles were drafted by Ralph W. Stephenson, DC published a book in 1927 called, “Chiropractic Textbook”. Concepts covered include life, time, matter, intelligence, and how these are connected to chiropractic.
This hour will explore the safety pin cycle, momentum, survival values and retracing.  These concepts are integral to understanding the healing sequence in the body under chiropractic care, and how habits and momentum can lead to long-term sustainability for the health of our patients.
This hour will discuss how chiropractic philosophy plays a role in the detection, analysis and correction of the vertebral subluxation.  Clinical implications of chiropractic philosophy will be discussed, as well discussion on how one can use their "chiropractic lens" to see chiropractic applications in all things philosophy, science, and art.
This hour will provide a historical context to be able to understand the philosophy discussed in the previous hours and how this historical framework, understood through the chiropractic lens can provide a framework for making informed decisions in relation to private practice as well as the profession at-large.
